This sparkling '54 roadster is a recent and exhaustive frame-off restoration
completed by the Vette Whisperer in late 2008. This example of a rare C-1 (first generation)
Corvette earned NCRS Top Flight honors with a score of 98.3 at the regional
NCRS judging event in Tucson in September 2008.
This spectacular 'barn find' was parked in a garage in Spokane, WA in 1964 and forgotten
until Steve Howard brought it to us for a year-long restoration. The story of this classic
'Vette was covered in the December 2009 issue of Corvette Fever magazine. For

"MidYear" Corvettes are among the most sought-after Corvette collectibles. The mid years (C-2 generation, from 1963 to 1967) reflected numerous performance innovations including the introduction of disc brakes in 1965, and the "Big Block" engines (396 cid in 1965, and 427 cid thereafter). The most collectible of these is generally considered to be the 1967 Big Block Corvette, the last year of the C-2 generation -- seen for sale at right!
This rare example of the Midyear is a factory Tri-Power 427, with dealer-installed RPO L89 aluninum heads, and is a classic example of this genre!
This well-maintained coupe required only a light frame-on restoration, exterior paint, and detailing of the engine compartment.
Some Highlights:

What a great Driver! This sweet 1980 Corvette coupe with removable top and Oyster white interior is perfect as a daily commuter or for weekend jaunts in the countryside. Its complementary light colors work especially well here in the southwest where the sun can heat up darker colors, though it's a 'head-turner' anywhere!
This is a well maintained driver with fresh paint, a straight body, and everything works. Plan to drive it anywhere!
Freshly detailed inside and out. 1980 was the last year the Corvette was produced without an engine control computer, which started in 1981.

1980 Chevy Corvette with 77,898 actual miles, clear title with no liens. Car has been kept in AZ and NM, mostly a southwest car.

Beyond celebrating Corvette's Silver Anniversary in 1978, Corvette was again tapped as the pace car for the Indy 500 that year. In celebration of this, Corvette buyers were treated to a Special Edition Indy Pace Car replica.
6,502 Pace Cars were produced in 1978 — but almost none of them sport this detail — 334 original miles on this spectacular example!
This ultra-collectible has been professionally appraised, and as you would expect, is perfect in every detail.
It features:
A car can be restored many times — but it’s original only once!

We often hunt down rumors of Corvettes parked for decades in a barn or under a tarp in a field, across all 50 states. Occasionally we discover that such a car really does exist, and even less frequently, that it is an example of low production RPOs, or has an unusual owner provenance — either of which make them "money cars".
The two 'Vettes shown here are believed to bring some unusual characteristics that we're in the process of verifying. We'll post more information here as we document the details.
This 1965 Corvette roadster appears to be a genuine example of the first production year of the Big Block (396ci RPO L78). It is also rumored to have an exceptional owner provenance, for which we have anecdotal evidence that we are attempting to document with certainty.
The 1956 Corvette roadster is an example of the RPO469 dual-quad 265ci engine. Despite its appearance from sitting under a tarp since it took some body damage in 1956, this is an ultra-low mileage car with what we suspect may be only 700 original miles on the odometer. Again, we are attempting to determine what other RPOs are in this car, as well as whether the indicated mileage is indeed original.
These cars are available for sale only in conjunction with a full frame-off restoration by the Vette Whisperer. Contact us if you have any questions!
This barn find is a genuine McBurnie Coachcraft Corvette-based "California Daytona Spyder", produced in the day as the third Miami Vice car. The provenance of this rare! vehicle is fully documented. It is presently in need of restoration, and all required parts are on hand.
This Spyder has an outstanding and fully-documented provenance:
The photos shown here reflect how the car looked at the time it was used on an Exotic Dreams trading card, and naturally, would look following the restoration.
This Daytona Spyder replica is based on a 1979 Corvette chassis, engine, and drive train which is documented by McBurnie Coachcraft as the original frame and running gear.
Asking $149,950 including a full frame-off resoration. Contact us if you have any questions.
