Completed Projects

CorvetteRestorationAZ.com and the VetteWhisperer.com websites are designed, researched, written, and maintained by rwardell.com
These are just a few of the high-profile projects that we've undertaken recently, or are now getting into our schedule. We always have a few dozen projects underway in the Corvette Restoration AZ shop, but here's a few you might find interesting. Some of our earlier projects, like the TimberWolf C-2 seen below, have been covered extensively in the trade press (visit our Media Coverage page). But visit this page often as we're launching new projects every week, and will announce industry media coverage here as well.
We're honored that we were chosen from all the shops
in America to build the Corvette Fever C-2 Project Car. During
this year-long project, we designed and built a unique mideyear resto-rod
whose progress was tracked in seven consecutive issues of Corvette Fever
Magazine.
For more photos, specifications, and downloads of the complete articles, please see the Timberwolf® in our Media Coverage.

We are pleased to be an integral part of Project C4orce — Alan Colvin's precedent-setting concept. The C4force prototype is now in our shop and nearing completion.
We'll bring you video here soon!
Here's an example of a project we'd love to undertake for you! This incredible collector car is looking for a new owner right now ...but probably not for long.
This vehicle is "the genuine article". This one-of-a-kind McBurnie Coachcraft "California Daytona Spyder", now in our possession, was produced in the day as the third Miami Vice car. The extensive provenance of this rare! vehicle is highlighted below.
This Spyder has an extraordinary and fully-documented (by the chassis serial and VIN numbers!) provenance:
The photos shown here reflect how the car looked at the time. It is presently in need of restoration, and all required parts are on hand. This is also how it will look following the restoration.
This Daytona Spyder replica is based on a 1979 Corvette chassis, engine, and drive train which is documented by McBurnie Coachcraft as the original frame and running gear. Contact us if you have any questions.
